Methodology
Who can be listed
Only Public Actors: people who hold or seek a public political role, or who regularly speak on politics to a large audience:
- Current or former officials: ministers, deputy ministers, MPs, governors, mayors, community heads, ambassadors, heads of state agencies.
- Party leaders, party officials, and election candidates at any level.
- Journalists, TV hosts, and commentators, in their public role.
- Influencers or bloggers with roughly 10,000+ followers who regularly post political content.
- Paid campaign staff or spokespeople who speak publicly.
Private Citizens are never listed by others. This includes civil servants with no political role, people whose post went viral once, and family members of Public Actors. A Private Citizen can appear only on the Self-Declarations page, and only by adding themselves after proving their identity. They can remove that entry instantly at any time.
Labels
- Nikolakan: at least one piece of approved Evidence of public support for Nikol Pashinyan, his government, or Civil Contract, and no newer approved Evidence of a public break.
- Former Nikolakan: approved Evidence of past support, followed by newer approved Evidence of a public break.
- Profiles with no approved Evidence are not shown.
Labels come only from approved Evidence. Confirms, Notes, and popularity never change a Label. Interviewing or meeting Nikol Pashinyan is not support.
What counts as Evidence
One dated, public act by the person themselves, such as a statement, vote, appointment, campaigning, or repost, with:
- a Source: the person's own post or video, an official record or decree, or a news report quoting them directly;
- an Archive copy at web.archive.org or archive.today, so it survives deletion;
- the date of the act and a short description of what it shows.
Never accepted: screenshots alone, hearsay, photos of someone standing near the Prime Minister, claims made by other people, and anything from private channels such as closed groups, DMs, or leaks.
What a Profile contains
Name, a credited official or press photo, public roles, official channels, Label, Evidence, Public Record, Unreviewed sources, the person's Reply, and the moderation log. Personal phone numbers, personal emails, home addresses, non-political workplaces, and family members are never published, even if they can be found elsewhere online.
Public Record
Besides their stance, a Profile may carry sourced facts about the person's conduct as a public official, in six categories: credentials (what an official biography claims against what records show, e.g. an unfinished degree), asset and income declarations, conflicts of interest, legal cases on the public record, contradictions between their own statements or votes, and controversies reported by credible press. Each entry has a source, an archive copy, a date, a verbatim excerpt and a short summary, and is approved by a moderator like Evidence. Public Record entries never affect the Label.
Never Public Record, even if public somewhere: health, family members, children, home, relationships, religion, and anything from before the person's public life that has no bearing on their office.
Automated collection
Once a day a program (the Collector) reads, for each listed person, only: their own public accounts (Telegram, YouTube, X; Facebook and Instagram posts arrive only when a moderator sends one by hand), official records (the National Assembly's record of the MP, asset declarations), and news reports that quote them directly. It never reads other people's posts about them, does not search the web for their name, and never touches leaks, data brokers or private channels.
A language model sorts each find into a possible piece of Evidence, a possible Public Record entry, or nothing. It must copy a verbatim excerpt — anything it cannot quote is dropped — it checks that the person is the author or is named in the relevant role, and when it is unsure it drops the item. Public Record finds are checked by a second, stronger model and both must agree.
What survives appears on the Profile at once as an Unreviewed source: the verbatim excerpt in its original language, the source, an archive copy, the date and the platform, with a visible “collected automatically, not reviewed” badge. No person has checked these items, and they never change the Label. A moderator may later promote one to Evidence or to a Public Record entry (then it counts), or delete it. Collector runs are recorded in the Moderation Log.
Anyone may flag an unreviewed item as “wrong person / misread”; three flags hide it until a moderator decides. The listed person can dispute an unreviewed item exactly like Evidence; once their identity is confirmed the item is hidden immediately, and a decision follows within 72 hours. On the English pages a machine translation may be shown under the original, folded away and marked as such.
Moderation
Moderators are appointed by the operator. Every Profile and every piece of Evidence is reviewed before publication. Once the site has two or more moderators, a new Profile needs approval from two different moderators before it goes public. Moderators may not review anyone they have a personal connection with. Every decision is recorded in the public Moderation Log.
Submitters are anonymous. We do not publish who submitted anything, and we do not ask for any contact details: each submission gets a private status link instead.
Right of reply, disputes, corrections
- Reply: a listed person can publish a statement of up to 1,000 characters on their Profile, shown unedited. Moderators remove only threats, slurs, or other people's private data.
- Dispute: a listed person can challenge a specific piece of Evidence. Once their identity is confirmed, the Evidence is placed on hold and stops counting toward the Label. A decision is made within 72 hours. If the dispute is upheld, the Evidence is retracted.
- Delist: a person who no longer qualifies as a Public Actor, for example because they left politics long ago, is removed from the site.
